Motherhood is one of the most important roles we can have here on Earth. The prophets have said “Motherhood is near to divinity. It is the highest, holiest service to be assumed by mankind. It places her who honors its holy calling and service next to the angels." In our world today, Satin is trying to tear us down and I think he is doing this through mothers. If he brings the mother down, he brings the rest of the fmaily. I know that we as mothers have the responsibility to raise our children to love the Savior. I know that God gave me the blessing of motherhood because he loves me, even though it is one of the hardest things I have ever done. I know that mothers are important and I hope I can teach my Children of their importance.

Alma 56:48 "And they rehearsed unto me the words of their mothers, saying: We do not doubt our mothers knew it."

Why do we have moms? (As a family, make a list of what mom does).
Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Sariah, Mothers of the army of Helaman, Sarah, Emma Smith, Pioneer moms
What do all these women have in common? They were mothers who were faithful and raised their children with love. Discuss how they showd their love for their children and why it made a difference in their lives.
How does your mom show her love for you? It kinda matches the list we made earlier. Everything mom does, she does out of love for you and for the Lord.
How can we show mom that we love her?
We also have a Heavenly mother, how can we show her our love. (we keep the commandments and make good choices. The same thing that we do to make our earthly mother happy)
